Andre is an international consultant, trainer and practitioner in community development. For the past 25 years he has worked with lower socio-economic communities around Australia and in places as diverse as the UK, US, South Africa, Zambia, Kenya and Cameroon. Andre brings expertise in uncovering the strengths and assets of a community and delights in up-ending traditional needs-based approaches which are well-meaning but inevitably flawed. He has extensive experience working with local governments, schools, faith groups and the not-for-profit sector. Andre co-founded CBBC to catalyse positive change towards individual and community flourishing.
